Hauptstadt Dog Training
Club
Hauptstadt is a dog training club specializing in schutzhund training which consists of tracking, obedience and protection work. We are a full-member club of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America under the name Hauptstadt Schutzhund Verein and a full member club of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America - Working Dog Association under the name O.G. Hauptstadt.
The club hosts both schutzhund trials and conformation shows. We train on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings throughout the year. Our training field is located in Spring Green, Wisconsin, however, we train indoors over the winter in Madison, Wisconsin.
Our training field is located at S12377 Pearl Road, Spring Green, Wisconsin. It is just north of Highway 14 in Spring Green. (Click for interactive map to training field)

Combined World Team Qualifer
The 2012 Combined World Team Qualifier will be held June 8-10, 2012 in Spring
Green, Wisconsin The Chairperson for this
event is Ms. Connie Miller of O.G. Hauptstadt. Please remember to qualify
for this event as a WDA representative you must
attend the WDA Nationals and receive a score of 270 or better. The top 10
dogs with 270 points or better will be invited
to participate in the Combined World Team Qualifier to compete for a spot on the
World Team. The 2012 World Championship
will be held in Austria.

2012 GSDCA-WDA Midwest Regional Conformation Show, Breed Survey and AD
September 14-16, 2012 with SV Judge/Körmeister Leonhard Schweikert
Hauptstadt will be hosting the GSDCA-WDA Midwest Regional Conformation Show,
Breed Survey and AD on September 14-16, 2012
with SV Judge/Körmeister Leonhard Schweikert in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
This show will be held in honor of
the late Jane Steffenhagen of Steffen-Haus Kennels. Jane's
daughter, Jackie Sweeney, and her son, Bob Behling, have graciously
donated a large number of their mother's trophies for this show. All trophies awarded will be unique
trophies that were won over the
years by Steffen-Haus Kennels including trophies from some of the most prestigious events in the world.
Be sure to mark your calendars. This will be an event you will not want to
miss!!!

All owners who e-mail Ami with the names of their dogs will

an e-mail with the photos of their dogs for free. However, you must be patient
as Ami has recently experienced the loss of 2 dogs in one and a half weeks and
is
involved in an upcoming Suicide Prevention Walk in honor of her brother. We
apologize
